An excellent modern sea kayak designed for coastal exploration and longer camping trips. Optimised for speed, comfort and storage, the Perception Essence Sea Kayak has been designed using the latest technology to allow expert and novice kayakers alike to push their sea touring experiences to new levels.

The Essence has a good V entry and exit allowing for definitive tracking and good cruising speed. Perception has given the Essence Sea kayak a shallow V profile under the cockpit to increase its initial stability. It has defined chines to make every turn predictable and smooth whilst on edge. Perception has also added a fully adjustable skeg system to the Essence allowing you to adapt to whatever conditions you decide to paddle in.
